Monte Carlo Applications in Systems Engineering A. Dubi Ben Gurion University of the Negev, Beer–Sheva, Israel The Monte Carlo method allows real–world industrial problems to be analyzed without the need to make the unrealistic simplifying assumptions necessary when using deterministic mathematical models. Monte Carlo Applications in Systems Engineering presents a unified approach to time–dependent system behavior in which the Monte Carlo method serves as a tool to obtain solutions to real–world challenges.
