The essays in this new book from John Milbank range over the entire field of theology, and both extend and enrich the theological perspective underlying his earlier Theology and Social Theory. In the essays Milbank offers a theological account of language, and suggests that no secular construct of language offers any true possibility of meaning. He then applies this account across a wide range of theological topics, offering us a new theology which is orthodox in a surprising and disturbing way.
