Relevant, up-to-date information is vital if realistic policies to improve the situation of women workers throughout the world are to be formulated and implemented. Published on the occasion of the 4th World Conference on Women held in Beijing in September 1995, this bibliography provides an overview of the ILO's activities on behalf of women over the period 1983-94, including the work carried out under the Interdepartmental Project on Equality for Women in Employment (1992-93).
