Gossips, rumors, reportage or other miscellaneous writings tend to be forgotten and lost in spite of temporary attention from the public. Mr. Tanizawa, a literary scholar and bibliographer, found their value as witness of the era and has been collecting such materials. This selection includes otherwise unavailable books which might provide new perspectives to the studies of history, literature and culture of the Taisho era.
