Numerous broadsides (surimono) were circulated from the latter Edo to the middle of Meiji period, but many of them tended to be scattered and lost. This collection includes various miscellaneous items such as playbills, posters, broadsheets, labels, maps, backgammon boards, advertisements, dating from the late Edo to early Meiji period. Accompanied by a printed Index by Susumu Yamamoto.
